Sara Bates is a passionate interior designer based in Newport Beach, California, specializing in high-end residential and business interiors.
Sara discovered her love of design earlier in life and honed her skills while completing her formal education. A goal for each of her projects is to perfect floor plans, placing the utmost importance on space planning for maximum function and beauty. Her keen eye for the use of space is one of her greatest strengths.
Sara holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architectural Interior Design from California State University, Long Beach. She served as the 2015 Membership Director for the Pasadena chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). One of her projects was featured in ASID Pasadena’s 2014 Kitchen & Home Tour. She received the “Best of Houzz 2016” award for customer service.
